Jordana Brewster – Mia of “Fast & Furious” – said that thanks to the breakup of an unhappy marriage, she found love.
On September 15, on the personal page, the actor announced that he had accepted Mason Morfit’s marriage proposal after more than a year of dating. She captioned the photo below showing off her engagement ring: “Jordana Brewster will soon change her name to Jordana Brewster Morfit.” A representative for Brewster confirmed the information to People the same day.

The beauty of the Fast & Furious series began dating Mason Morfit in mid-2020 and first publicly announced their love for the New Year holiday. He is a successful businessman who used to be a director at Microsoft. The two knew each other from four years ago, but both had their own families at that time, keeping only friends. Four days after Brewster split from her husband – filmmaker Andrew Form, Morfit invited her to San Francisco to play. They became lovers after only five minutes of meeting.
The actor mentioned his love story to Glamor magazine in June: “When I landed at the airport, I saw him waiting in the lobby, holding a sign with his name on it. My heart was racing because of love. I was both scared and emotional. During the period when the whole society avoided contact, we merged again. I told myself please come and kiss me and he did.”
The two then often dated and talked for a long time. Her friends and psychiatrist together advised her that the relationship was moving too fast. Brewster told Glamor : “They didn’t understand that I had been waiting for this relationship for years. Outsiders thought we were in a hurry, but it was actually a late bloomer.”
On Valentine’s Day, she posted a photo of the two of them traveling and said she was lucky to meet Morfit. The two often meet the other half’s family. With Brewster, the children are always a priority. She wanted her new lover to get along with the children. Morfit often spends time taking Brewster and his mother to go fishing and weekend picnics. The businessman also helped his girlfriend celebrate her son Rowan’s birthday in June.

Before coming to Morfit, Brewster said she spent many years of an unhappy marriage with her husband Andrew Form. The two met on the set of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and got married in 2006 and have two sons. She explained the reason for the divorce to Glamor newspaper : “The break up of the marriage is not anyone’s fault. My husband loves his work, likes to be on set. I know and accept that since the beginning of love. However, , things get complicated when having children. I want a real life partner.”

When Covid-19 started breaking out in the US in March 2020, Brewster and Form decided to live apart. She went to her grandmother’s house with her children to avoid the epidemic. Husband continues to focus on completing unfinished projects. A year apart, plus the previous fading of feelings, makes the marriage come to an end. In mid-2020, the two decided to divorce . Brewster paid her husband $5 million in exchange for ownership of the family’s Los Angeles mansion. The star couple agreed to stay friends to raise their children together. Neither of them have to pay the other half’s support fee.
Brewster calls divorce a bold decision in her forties. “I broke my shell. But by risking everything, I found the love of my life,” the actor told Glamor .
