In an interview with Variety magazine, Kris Jenner said, “Who doesn’t love money” when asked why she continues to do reality shows despite successfully building a billion-dollar empire.

According to Variety, the Kardashians have dominated popular culture, becoming a billion-dollar empire with a total fortune of up to $5 billion. In September 2020, the family made a bold decision to end the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) after 14 years. But that doesn’t make them any less rich.

In April, The Kardashians program promises to make the billion-dollar family richer. According to Variety ‘s sources , the show ran for 40 episodes and was filmed as a documentary .

True to the Kardashian style, the series isn’t afraid to delve into the relationship of the “hottest” character Kim, including her divorce from Kanye West and her relationship with her new boyfriend Pete Davidson .

“Money-loving” mother

Currently, the Kardashian family has a total of 1.7 billion followers. Kim, Kylie and Kendall alone, their number of followers is higher than Netflix’s global subscriber count ( Kylie Jenner has 315 million followers, Netflix has 218 million users).

“It’s overwhelming when I think about it,” Kylie Jenner said.

After so many years, no one can deny that the family’s success comes from the powerful mother Kris Jenner. Remembering when he started producing the show KUWTK, Jenner says it wasn’t random.

“When I started creating reality shows, I was very happy to have my own place to perform and cherish the opportunity,” Kris told Variety.

Right after the first season of KUWTK, Jenner realized that they didn’t need to sell any other products because the reality show was the money-making product. She asserted that they became special after the second part. Family members face fans and paparazzi every time they step out.

Even non-Kardashian fans know that Jenner runs the family business. She negotiated all deals, benefiting from transactions across 16 Kardashian-Jenner portfolios.

With all the success and huge fortune that the family accumulated, many people were surprised when Kris Jenner decided to do a new show. “It’s stupid when someone says money doesn’t matter. We love money,” she replied shortly.

Once mocked as reality TV stars , no one can deny that the Kardashians are good at adapting to all forms of entertainment, from traditional television to social networks and online services. In other words, they created their own force in Hollywood named Kardashian that made many people wary.

Dana Walden – President of Entertainment of Walt Disney Television – was integral to signing the Kardashian deal. He asserts that the remuneration for their family members has never been cheap.

“We got a great deal. They deserve it. Who doesn’t want to work with the Kardashians?”, Walden said about the deal to produce The Kardashians.

Key figures of the “Kardashian empire”

At the end of February, the powerful Kim Kardashian stepped down from a private jet worth $ 95 million. She has just returned to Los Angeles, USA from Milan Fashion Week in Italy. After getting off the expensive plane, she returned to her luxury mansion in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles and began the interview with Variety.

“I just got home. I don’t want to go too far because I want to be close to my children. I prioritize spending time with my children,” she said.

Variety said that without Kardashian and Kris’ acumen, the Kardashian-Jenner empire would not be what it is today. When asked about his business motto, Kim boldly said: “My best advice to women in business is to get up and get to work.”

Over the years, the Kardashian family has been the subject of fierce criticism. But everyone has to admit one thing that they are sharp people and know how to maintain a name.

“We focus on our work. We don’t have to sing or perform. We just live our lives and succeed on their own. I don’t know how to describe it,” Kim said of the family’s success.

When mentioned by Variety that the character who recently caused a stir with Kim was Pete Davidson, the reality TV star said she had no plans for her boyfriend to appear on the new reality show.

Kim Kardashian says she never leaves the camera lens.

“I am not against that. He is ready to do anything. I think Davidson and I will have interesting scenes, but not right now,” the actress said for the first time about her new lover .

Kim’s refusal to let Pete Davidson appear on the first season of The Kardashians comes at a time when her divorce from Kanye West is in trouble.

Last week, a judge in Los Angeles accepted Kardashian’s motion to remove the last name West from her name. Kim is officially recognized as legally single, according to TMZ . In court documents, Kim argued that West’s posts on social media caused her emotional distress.

Before things became as acrimonious as they are now, West promptly appeared in season one of The Kardashians. At that time, they broke up and were at the most difficult stage of their marriage.

“Publicating disagreements in the couple’s relationship in public is never easy. But I believe in how I handle it. I will not criticize the father of my children in the program I created. That would make me uncomfortable,” she said.

Up to now, Kim Kardashian has always affirmed that she and Kanye West and their children are forever family. “We have always had love and respect for each other. Even when there are moments when it doesn’t seem so, I still try to find the positive. It’s important for you to understand that life isn’t always perfect, it’s just whether or not you want things to be better,” the mother-of-four shared.

When asked how long the Kardashians want to expose their life to the public, Kim said “probably about 10 years from now”. But when asked if one day Kim would leave the camera, Kim laughed and said, “Never.”
