Taylor Swift reveals song title in Midnights: new update news

Although the lead single has yet to be announced, Swift took to her social media accounts on September 21 to poke fun at her Easter egg birthing and reveal that she will be playing the game. random song title, in a series of videos called “Midnights Mayhem with Me” boldly. The title of the first track, of the 13th track, was revealed to be “Mastermind”. Previously, songs were only listed as “Track One”, “Track Two”, etc. on the album cover. In total, there will be 13 songs in the standard version of the album (see more below).

The songs will also return to more personal themes, after Swift moved away from that with her last two albums. In the Midnights announcement note, she describes it as “stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.”

“This is a collection of music written at midnight, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we run and the demons we face. for all of us who have bounced around and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves, “Swift wrote. Presumably, this means that, despite the album’s moody title, there will be a mix of darker and lighter values, and maybe even a mix of genres.
